Our vision is to instill lasting hope and unwavering trust in God within the hearts of the next generation, teaching them His works and faithfulness so they may set their hope in Him and never forget His goodness.

Our Mission

Psalm 78:1-8

  • To teach children about God’s faithfulness and instill hope of God’s goodness and strength in the next generation.

  • Believe that children can become believers, grow spiritually and serve the church body; therefore, we will have a ministry designed to equip and facilitate this process.

  • Nurturing our children during their formative years is critically important for their spiritual development. Spiritual development is in partnership with the family unit.

  • Soma is a household of faith; we are the family of God. Soma Kids are ‘our children’. We all share the responsibility of telling the next generation about the Lord.

Soma Kids Sunday Morning

Birth Thru 5th Grade

You can expect your child to experience a safe, healthy, and loving environment where Biblical truths are shared through teaching, music, and engaging activities.

Children begin the morning with their families in the auditorium for worship and are then dismissed to Soma Kids for an age-appropriate lesson. Families are always welcome to keep their child(ren) with them for the entirety of the service, if preferred.

Soma Kids also offers a low-stimulus area, sensory-friendly activity options, and a buddy system for children who may benefit from additional support.

The health and safety of your children are a top priority. We have trained healthcare personnel and dedicated security team members on-site during services.

Our passion is to see the next generation set their hope in God (Psalm 78). That’s why Soma Kids uses the Truth78 curriculum, which equips us to teach the whole counsel of God in age-appropriate ways. Week by week, children build a lasting foundation of truth and worship, while parents are equipped to reinforce those same truths at home.

Soma Kids Family Resources

As we walk alongside our families to provide support in being the spiritual leader for your child(ren), we will provide a take-home resource each Sunday. This resource will include the main point, Bible story, Scripture memory verse, and application activities that go along with what your child learned that day in Soma Kids. We encourage you to spend time during the week with your child to help apply and reinforce the Biblical truths we teach.
